Samuel Slater Experience is open to the public year-round on the following days:
Friday: 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Saturday: 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Sunday: Noon – 4 p.m.

Tickets may be purchased in advance online here or on-site in the gift shop.
Please note: Visitors under the age of 17 must be accompanied by an adult.

Samuel Slater Experience is pleased to participate in the Card to Culture program, a collaboration between Mass Cultural Council and the Department of Transitional Assistance, the Massachusetts Health Connector, and the Women, Infants & Children (WIC) Nutrition Program by extending discounts to EBT, WIC, and ConnectorCare cardholders. With presentation of a Massachusetts EBT, WIC, or ConnectorCare card, a family (up to four people) receives the discounted entry fee of $3 per person.

Frequently Asked Questions about Touring
Visitors should plan to spend at least an hour-and-a-half for their tour.
Tour groups will have no more than 8 people. If your party is larger than that, please reach out to admin@samuelslaterexperience.org.
You may have to wait 10-15 minutes depending on the volume of visitors to the museum. During that time, you can visit the gift shop or chat with our guide in the lobby.
There are some sensory aspects to the exhibits, such as intense sounds, lighting, and motion. If you or someone in your party is sensitive to these, please alert staff when you arrive.
Yes, there are places to sit down throughout the museum, especially for some of our longer videos.
Yes, it is! We also have a wheelchair available to borrow.
